Allison M. Voigt and Anthony E. Giampapa

Mr. and Mrs. John L. Voigt Jr., of Ellicott City, announce the marriage of their daughter, Allison Marie Voigt, to Anthony Edward Giampapa, son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Giampapa, of Walkersville, Md., on June 28, 2008. The Rev. Andrew Royals officiated.

The bride received a bachelor's degree in elementary education from the University of Maryland. She is a third-grade teacher in the Montgomery County Public School System.

The groom received a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Maryland. He is a project manager for John J. Kilin.

The ceremony was held at the University of Maryland Memorial Chapel. A reception followed at the Marriott UMUC Inn and Conference Center. Sara Masiulis served as the maid of honor and David Schanuel was the best man.

The couple honeymooned in the Mayan Riviera and reside in Germantown.
