Megan M. Perrault and Luke D. Wiedeman

Barbara and Donald Perrault, of Ellicott City, announce the engagement of their daughter, Megan Matthai Perrault, to Luke Daniel Wiedeman, son of Leah and Bruce Wiedeman, of Westminster.

The bride-to-be is a 2003 graduate of River Hill High School. She received her bachelor's degree in sociology from Grove City (Pa.) College in 2007. She is a resource center assistant for the National Fatherhood Initiative, in Gaithersburg.

The future groom is a 2003 graduate of Cedar Brook Academy in Clarksburg. He received his bachelor's degree in elementary education from Grove City College in 2007.

A June wedding is planned.

Shannon Jackson and John Roberts

Ann and Marc Jackson, of Clarksville, announce the engagement of their daughter, Shannon Jackson, to John Roberts, of Columbia, and son of Susan Roberts, of Roanoke Rapids, N.C.

The bride-to-be is a 2001 graduate of River Hill High School. She graduated from Towson University in 2006 with a bachelor's degree in elementary education. She is currently working on her master's degree at McDaniel College. She is a second-grade teacher for the Howard County Public School System.

The future groom is a 1998 graduate of Roanoke Rapids High School. He received a bachelor's and master's of business administration from Campbell University in 2003. He also graduated from the BB&T Leadership Development Program in 2003. He is an assistant vice president and commercial relationship manager as a business service officer for BB&T.

A June wedding is planned.

Elizabeth A. Young and Matthew N. Bankert

Carol and Roger Young, of Clarksville, announce the marriage of their daughter, Elizabeth Anne Young, to Matthew Neuman Bankert, son of Jo Ann and Neuman Bankert of Columbia, on May 26, 2007. The Rev. Michael Rallo officiated.

The bride graduated from Chapelgate Christian Academy in 2003 and earned a bachelor's degree in nursing from the University of Maryland, Baltimore, in 2007. She works at the University of Maryland Medical System in Baltimore.

The groom graduated from Cedar Brook Academy in 1999 and earned a bachelor's degree in broadcast production from Campbell University in Buies Creek, N.C., in 2002. He works as a financial management analyst for the Social Security Administration in Woodlawn.

The ceremony took place at the Grey Rock Mansion in Pikesville. An afternoon reception followed.

The maid of honor was Cindy Young, sister of the bride. The best man was Mark Bankert, brother of the groom. The bride's sister, Juliana Young, served as flower girl. Hannah Young, Melissa Bankert Talbot, Melody Bankert, Andy Young and David Young were in the wedding party.

The couple honeymooned in St. Thomas and reside in Columbia.

Laura Oakland and Joseph Blasi

Barbara and Jerry Oakland, of Storm Lake, Iowa, announce the engagement of their daughter, Laura Oakland, to Joseph Blasi, son of Michael Blasi, of Columbia, and the late Virginia Blasi.

The bride-to-be received her master's degree in social work from Washington University in St. Louis. She is a social worker with Operation Breakthrough day-care center in Kansas City, Mo.

The future groom received a master's degree in civil engineering from Washington University also. He is a transportation planning engineer with HNTB Corp., in Kansas City.

A May wedding is planned.

Amanda J. Ramsey and Seth M. Williams

Debra and Mac Ramsey, of Columbia, announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Jane Ramsey, to Seth Martin Williams, son of Cheryl and Tracy Williams, of Ellicott City.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Atholton High School. She earned her bachelor's and master's degrees from James Madison University. She is an elementary school physical education teacher for the Montgomery County Public Schools.

The future groom is a graduate of Atholton High School and earned a bachelor's degree in business administration in 2004 from Towson University. He is a credit officer with the Columbia Bank.

A June wedding is planned.
