Maureen and James Nagle, of Columbia, announce the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer Lynn Nagle, to Bryan Michael Canfield, son of Deborah Simons, of Lansdowne.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, where she earned a bachelor's degree in English/communication technology and elementary education. She is pursuing a master's degree at McDaniel College. She is employed by the Howard County Public School System as a middle school English teacher.

The future groom earned an associate degree in business and technology from Howard Community College and is currently working toward a bachelor's degree in environmental management. He is employed by Maryland Environmental Services.

A June 28 wedding is planned.
