Kathleen Yost, of Columbia, announces the engagement of her daughter, Kathleen Frances Wuwer, to Daniel Lee Whitmoyer, son of Judy Cox, of Marriottsville.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of the John Hopkins University's Carey Business School, where she earned a master's degree in information technology and telecommunications. She is a senior business analyst for Legg Mason Technology Services.

The future groom graduated from Glen Burnie Senior High School. He is currently employed by Unifirst.

An August 2 wedding is planned.
