Howard County Summer Theatre will present "Guys and Dolls" at Mt. Hebron High School, 9440 Route 99 in Ellicott City, on July 11, 12, 16-19 at 7 p.m. and on July 13 at 2 p.m.

Tickets are $14 for general admission and $12 for students 12 and under. Proceeds from the production will benefit Howard County's Prepare for Success and the Salvation Army. Tickets may be purchased at Music and Arts in Chatham Station on Route 40 or online at www.ticketleap.com. Tickets will also be available at the door.

Jonathan Norman and Laura Whittenberger portray Sky Masterson and Sister Sarah Brown, while Howard County Summer Theatre veterans Marloe Lippert and Glen Tschirgi play the roles of Miss Adelaide and Nathan Detroit. Other featured roles include Jim Schaefer as Arvide, Stephen Namie as Nicely-Nicely, Dan Kennett as Benny Southstreet, Dave Schwartz as Big Jule, Todd Hochkeppel as Harry the Horse, Debbie Mobley as Gen. Cartwright and Nathan Rosen as Lt. Brannigan.

The production team includes vocal director Chris Hettenbach, choreographer Amanda Tschirgi, costumer Laural Clark, set director Joe Blasko, props manager Mark Crampton, orchestra director Kevin George, pianist Pamela Goss, sales director Kit Schaefer, and lighting director Tracie Ervin.

The production is under the direction of Tom Sankey, now in his 25th year as director for productions of Howard County Summer Theatre.

More than 150 cast members, orchestra members and crew from the community are involved in the 34th annual Howard County Summer Theatre production. Last year, the group donated $11,000 to local Howard County charities after their production of Disney's "Beauty and the Beast."
