Howard County police are offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of a man who robbed two businesses in the Whiskey Bottom Shopping Center in North Laurel in recent weeks.

The first incident occurred at 10:34 p.m., Aug. 6 when a man armed with a knife entered the High's Dairy Store in the 9100 block of All Saints Road and robbed the store of money, police said.

The second incident occurred at 3:47 p.m., Aug. 15 when a man entered the Dollar Plus store, also in the 9100 block of All Saints Road, wielded a knife and demanded money, according to police.

Police believe the same man committed both robberies.
