A section of Snowden River Parkway near Dobbin Road in Columbia will be closed starting July 7 as Howard County’s Department of Public Works installs a 500-foot sidewalk along the road.
The sidewalk will connect two existing sidewalks, one fronting a Park and Ride Lot on Snowden River and the other adjacent to Dobbin Road.
The county plans to close the right lane of southbound Broken Land Parkway on weekdays between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. until the project is finished.
County officials expect to complete the sidewalk in mid-July if the weather permits.
For more information about the project, contact Lisa Brightwell, in the Department of Public Works, at 410-313-3440.
